Once your application is live, you can run it yourself or let us look after it. Both are real options — and the choice is entirely yours.

Maintenance is optional.

Customers are not required to purchase a maintenance plan to receive their completed application or source code. Your application is delivered as a standalone product that you can operate independently, host elsewhere, maintain internally, or hand to another developer.

Application maintenance plans are optional and are available for applications approved and configured for support by Olmem Tech. Purchasing a plan does not change your ownership of your application or source code.

Before onboarding an application, we may need to confirm its technical condition and hosting requirements. Managed service begins once the application has been approved and configured — not at the moment of purchase. Third-party and usage-based costs are not included in these plans and may be billed separately.

AI and third-party usage

Applications that use the services below may carry separate usage-based charges billed on what the application actually consumes. We will explain any of these that apply to your project before launch, and we do not promise unlimited usage of a metered service we do not control.

Ownership, source code, and maintenance policy

You Own Your Software

You are purchasing a standalone application — not temporary access to software owned by Olmem Tech.

Full ownership

Upon final project payment, you receive ownership of the custom application and a complete copy of the source code created specifically for your project. You are free to:

Host the application independently
Maintain it internally
Hire another developer or development team
Move it to another hosting provider
Continue improving it without Olmem Tech

Maintenance is completely optional

You are never required to purchase a maintenance plan to receive any of the following:

Their completed application
Their source code
Their project files
Their agreed project documentation
The ability to host or maintain the application elsewhere

What a maintenance plan adds

Customers who choose an Olmem Tech maintenance plan receive benefits such as:

Managed production deployments
Security updates
Performance monitoring
Bug fixes within the support scope
Dependency updates
Backup monitoring
Technical assistance
Priority support, depending on the selected plan
Ongoing feature development, depending on the selected plan

Production code protection

For the stability and security of an application maintained by Olmem Tech, customers do not directly modify the live production code. Requested changes are reviewed, tested, and deployed through the established development process.

While we are responsible for keeping a system running, we control what reaches production. This policy exists to prevent:

Unreviewed code changes
Production outages
Security vulnerabilities
Broken integrations
Database damage
Conflicts with active maintenance work

This does not affect your ownership. You still own the application and the source code. It applies only to who deploys changes to the live system while Olmem Tech is accountable for maintaining it — and it applies only while an active maintenance and hosting agreement is in place.

Source code access during maintenance

You receive the source code at project completion. Customers may request the current version of their source code at any time. Updated source code is also made available after major feature releases or significant project changes.

We do not automatically distribute a new source-code archive after every small bug fix, text update, dependency patch, or minor configuration change — but a current copy is always available to you on request.

Ending maintenance

You may choose to discontinue Olmem Tech maintenance, subject to the terms of your service agreement. When maintenance ends, you retain:

Ownership of the application
Their current source code
The ability to move the application
The ability to manage it independently
The ability to hire another provider

If we host your application

If Olmem Tech hosts the application, reasonable transition or migration support may be quoted separately so the move to your own infrastructure or another provider is orderly rather than disruptive.

What “your code” means

You own the custom project code and deliverables created specifically for your project. That ownership is subject to third-party licenses and to your signed agreement. It does not transfer ownership of third-party software, open-source libraries, licensed themes, external APIs, commercial components, or customer-provided assets, which remain governed by their own licenses.

Your software belongs to you.

Our maintenance plans are designed to protect, improve, and support your application — not to lock you into a long-term contract.
